Thank you to Penny's Pocket (@PennysPocket1 on twitter), who does amazing photo commissions, for agreeing to take all of these screenshots with the sea blue /ivory version of the dress! You are wonderful.
Hi! This is a passion project that I decided to share with the community. I wanted a long, romantic dress, and what started out as wanting a silly mashup became a much bigger project with new topography, uvs, and textures! I chose to use actual diffuse textures instead of colorsets because the game wasn't giving me the polished look I wanted, or the color options I wanted, with the in-game dyes and textures. Please scroll through the photo gallery above to see all of the options!
I have made three major color groups. The first has ivory details (ruffles & bows), white buttons, and is based on soft and pale colors, some joyful colors, or brighter nature themes. The second has champagne details (ruffles & bows), black buttons, and is based on warm Victorian-style laces and fabrics, as well as soft textures like gingham and dots. The final group has black details (ruffles & bows), black buttons, and is based on darker and more elegant themes, from jewel tones and rich, beaded fabrics to warm fabrics like houndstooth tweed or bold tartan.
This dress is on the High House Bustle and Rainbow Bustle and fitted to the Bibo+ Vanilla type. Bibo+ note: this was made using the new version of Bibo+ (_bibo). It is quite flowy and swishy, but as with most dresses, please expect some clipping - Midlanders in particular kick up the back of their heels when they run and will clip (as with vanilla dress items). When posing, most poses work well, but sitting/bent-at-the-waist ones will require a bit of finesse to drag the dress bones into the correct area before letting them flow.
To keep the size of the modpacks down, and to keep the options from being too difficult to read (or difficult for me to pack without mistakes), I have them separated into the base dress and then color options. After installing what you want, you should be able to move the dress to other items if you want. The modpacks also work well with penumbra, simply by giving the color options a higher priority than the base dress and enabling the option you want freely.
Use: Feel free to make personal edits or texture upscales, but please link back to the original. This is a free mod - do not reupload it anywhere for profit. You can include it in whatever if you link back to where it is freely available.
Bibo+ note: this was made using the new version of Bibo+ (_bibo) - if you use the older version you need to use Textools's Auto-Assign Skin Materials function to get it working properly.
